Nepal without the long treks. This family tour pairs three days in Pokhara with two nights in Chitwan National Park, where you go on a jeep safari to look for one-horned rhinos and canoe past crocodiles on the Rapti River. In Pokhara you take a boat on Phewa Lake, catch sunrise over the Annapurnas from Sarangkot and can add a tandem paragliding flight. A private vehicle and driver are with you throughout, so the pace stays easy for children and grandparents.
Airport pickup and a short flight to Pokhara. Evening walk along Lakeside.
Early drive to Sarangkot for sunrise on Machhapuchhre, then a boat to Tal Barahi Temple and the World Peace Pagoda.
Visit Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave and the International Mountain Museum. Optional tandem paragliding.
Scenic 5-hour drive to Sauraha, Chitwan. Tharu village walk and cultural dance in the evening.
Morning canoe ride on the Rapti River, elephant breeding centre visit and afternoon jeep safari in the national park.
Early birdwatching walk, then drive or fly to Kathmandu. Farewell dinner with a cultural show.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
